Tripuraneni Gopichand

Vikasa Dhatri humbly contributes a page to Sri Tripuraneni Gopichand, the greatest short story writer, novelist, director, script writer and a play-writer. We will post his photographs, documentary film (produced by his actor son, Saichand), and publish a souvenir on 8 September 2010. Also introduce his works, views, opinions of his readers and writers. His son Saichand, cine actor of films like (Maa Bhoomi, Ee charitra Ee Sirato? Ankuram, Siva etc)producer and director of documentary films, plans to conduct Birth centenary celebrations of Gopichand, at 7 places, which includes villages,towns and cities where Gopichand born, brought up, lived, educated and contributed his services to the society. So far each two programmes conducted in Tenali and Vijayawada. The proposed places to conduct the celebrations given below. 1. Angaluru- Birth Place 2. Choutapalli-Brought up 3. Guntur -Graduated 4. Chennai- Film Industry (story writer, script writer, director) 5. Kurnool - Worked as first Information Director (Andhara State) 6. Bangalore- He has not worked but to reach many Telugu people 7. Hyderabad- Worked in All India Radio (concluding ceremony will be held at Ravindrabharathi, on 8 September 2010). Our precious gift to readers, writers and his fans of Telugu Literature.
