It's a fantasic idea of consolidating all the stories into a single place. "The Practise of storytelling was a daily act willingly performed by grandmothers to get their small chidren off to sleep is an ages old one. The stories always had a moral or learining attached to them which served a dual puprose, not only the child fall off to sleep but also learnt from it.With more and more nuclear families coming up children are taken care of by nannies or day care centres,these nannies and teachers read out stories from the books to the children but its not like it use to be.
"Cheema Cheema Enduku kuttav..?" is a consolidation of all the stories which can attract the modern-day child to a rich Cultural heritage with a moral at the end of every story.  They are all about survival in a complicated world and the several ways to get over problems.
Stories and story books have been a large part of a kids childhood memories and will continue to do so. The form in which the stories about these fascination characters are presented might undergo numerous changes but these stories will always be a child’s friend."

"Cheema Cheema Enduku kuttav..?" authored by Gali Udaya Kumar was published by Andhra Pradesh National Green Corps and is being circulated to all the schools participating in Eco Clubs Programme free of cost. The English version of the book was also published with the title "All Things Green and Beautiful (Tales on Biodiversity).
